Golmangtae Pension

My room was very spacious. I was able to do yoga / stretch for example and had plenty of room. It was very clean and home-y and had good natural light coming in. I was a big fan of the big heated bed blanket as well - that put me to sleep real quick. :) I liked the fun colors on the exterior of the units as well - it reminded me of the Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan. I also like how it was secluded and yet there were restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The host was very nice and hospitable and helpful with answering my questions.

I can’t think of anything for me. Perhaps other people would like to know it’s in more of a rural / farm-y setting but that’s why I personally chose it. I didn’t want to be in a big hotel; I wanted to be more in a local setting but also be very comfortable.

The proximity to the green tea plantations and the hospitality of the host. The host served us green tea from his farm and cooked breakfast himself as he worked as a chef previously. He doesn’t speak much English but used google translate to communicate. Highly recommended if you want a more local experience with a friendly host.

We visited in winter. Although the rooms are kept warm, it was cold to shower in the toilet.

The hosts were most hospitable, inviting me for breakfast and showing me around the area. The location was both beautiful and strategic. I'd definitely stay again!

The location was really nice being surrounded by the mountains and the view on the alley. It was a quiet room and we had everything from basic equipment that was needed in a very big room.

When we arrived we had luckily a friendly taxi driver that helped us to communicate with the host. He didn´t speak English and a little bit of Korean. They also didn´t know about this booking I had the feeling. Checking out was again very unclear with very little communication. The room could also have a little clean up, you could barely look though the windows and their was a moisture problem in a corner. I think overall our stay could have been really nice if there would have been proper communication.

We were received with a cold green tea and given access to our accomodation before the actual check-in time which facilitated our stay in the region as we could leave our backpacks and continue to Daehan Dawon Green Tea Farm. The only major problem with had in Boseong was understanding bus arrival time. Also, the bus stop for the Tea Farm isn't specificaly indicated which complicated the transport. The bus driver notheless, once he had missed us, came back to pick us up ! :) Not related to the accomodation which was great!

The most beautiful houses that look like little mushrooms on the mountain. The views surrounding the property was beautiful - the paddy fields were in a golden hue. The host is the kindest and most generous soul. I felt like I was welcomed into a family home, not a hotel!

The breakfast was a cooked traditional Korean breakfast. This was fine for us, Others may need to enquire about a "traditional Korean breakfast" as they may not know it's content. We truly hope to receive our host into our home if / when he comes to Australia!

As far as we were concerned - Nothing!
