The location and the hotel where fine. The bar was very homely. The gym is basic.
Beautiful quiet location. Room was nice and bright with a nice balcony. However didn’t feel there was anything special for a 5 star there was tea making facilities but not even a biscuit. There was 2 bottles of water in fridge. We ate in the restaurant and have to say the burger was a little disappointed. However breakfast which was self service was lovely. There is a lovely 2 km walk around the hotel which we enjoyed and the hotel ponys are lovely to watch when eating in the restaurant. We didn’t avail of the pool but it looked lovely that you would b looking out to mountains while relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and it seems to be very family friendly with a lovely play ground and pony trekking. The staff were very friendly.
My husband and I spent two evenings at The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens. Our room was large, comfortable and nicely appointed. We had a balcony with wonderful views. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a vast nicely presented selection.
Large hotel situated in a pristine setting. Close to Killarney, but feels so far away. Nestled amongst farms, surrounded by hills. Staff went above and beyond. Spacious rooms, not quite 5 star, but very comfortable. Restaurant has great view, and the breakfast was great. Lots of free parking. Wonderful gardens, and surroundings.

Overall very good stay, good for families, set in beautiful countryside and landscapes gardens with park.
We love the Dunloe. Beautiful setting. Foyer has been modified, but it has still retained some character from before the renovations. Staff are lovely nd friendly too.
