"Great location, comfortable, clean and friendly"

Good situation for the M6 at Preston. Plenty of parking. Great facilities. Friendly helpful staff

I know it’s Lancashire, but it was unusually very warm and the air conditioning unit was very noisy so couldn’t sleep with it on, coupled with a heavy duvet and no sheet, it was uncomfortably warm in the room. I know most people wouldn’t even notice this because it’s usually cold and raining!

"It was OK-ish...."

Not much help when we arrived Hard to find the EV chargers and there was no lighting there, making it difficult to download and connect

The space and breakfast

I booked a pet friendly hotel with booking.com rang the say before to check with central reservations my dog was included in the booking. On arrival I had to wait 10 mins to check in only one staff at 5pm. Then was told it was a 30 surcharge for my pet although central reservations said there was mo surcharge. The bed was soft and gave me back ache and the shower did not work properly. Rooms were ok but a little tired. Also poor sound proofing. Did not have a good night sleep. No refund for my £30 surcharge as yet.

Excellent location as not far from the motorway and easy to find. Lovely food served until 10 with very attentive staff. Breakfast was also very well organised and again staff were friendly and attentive.

"Poor stay, wasted money"

The lobby & the building

The reception lady who was very rude to me when I asked for an extra towel (as we only had 3 in our room & we were a party of 4) a black lady didn't catch her name. The beds (2 small doubles) were very small & not comfy at all. We paid for a family room but it should be for 2 people. The pool was closed when we arrived & we wasn't informed about it. We booked this hotel so our autistic son could use the pool whilst we were there. We also recommended our friends to stay & they experienced the same treatment. They have also sent a complaint in too.
