Good breakfast and customer care that one comes to expect from Marriott.

The staff were very helpful, the location was good and our room, though a little tired, was spacious but we were unable to get on to the Guest Wi-Fi, even after enquiring at Reception and receiving further information. We ate in the Cast Iron Bar & Grill, the food was good but we were tricked by a service charge being added to the bill AND a space for gratuities. We spoke to the manager the following morning and he refunded the added gratuity without fuss.

I’ve stayed here once every year for the last three years. Consistently the housekeeping staff and the dining staff are pleasant and efficient. Also consistently, the front desk staff while pleasant are less than efficient and tend not to anticipate needs. This time I called ahead to enquire if they had any rental car service on site or if they could point me in the direction of a rental service. I was told to use google. During check-in I stood there for 5 minutes while the a staff member stared at a computer monitor and didn’t even bother to acknowledge my presence. When I have their attention the front of house staff is pleasant but from the Marriott brand I expect them to do better. Additionally, for a Marriott hotel this one is quite run down and seems to be getting to progressively worse over the years I’ve stayed there. The rooms have stained carpeting, bathroom tiles are moldy, bathroom faucets leak, etc. The location of this hotel it what has me coming back in a yearly basis. And while it’s a satisfactory experience, from Marriott I expect more.

had to change rooms as the initial room had a dirty toilet and no toilet paper. The re-allocated room was fine. Breakfast was good too.

Hotel room great - breakfast awful! First b/fast - milk jug had bread in it (on watching staff they were tipping milk from the jugs of people leaving tables into jugs on the other tables! Coffee was cold and tasted disgusting (like reconstituted granules) - ordered tea - arrived lukewarm and tasteless. Orange juice watered down. As to the food - tried a croissant - tasted as though reheated stale from previous day? Tried 'hot' food - lukewarm at best - the only thing that did work was the toaster. Second day - tried the porridge - couldn't be worse could it? - yes it could! Arrived tepid - sent back, second batch arrived 'warm' - gave up! Thought, try a bagel - well, so stale I struggled to cut it so gave up...resorted to toast. Can't believe the quality was so bad - had booked through here so couldn't be given a refund - would always try to book directly in future in case issues like this arise - oh, tried coffee and tea again - still very poor. Anyone in the kitchen heard of HOT food and water? Room great although some things were not replaced in the room. Reception staff excellent.

Had an amazing stay as always. We always go on my granddaughters birthdays and they always make a fuss of them. They send up to the room a birthday cake and nothing is too much trouble
