Quality Inn & Suites Caseyville - St Louis

My room was very outdated. The wall paint was peeling, the jacuzzi tub was old and clearly not well-maintained, and I found several spiders during my stay. Overall, the room did not feel clean or comfortable. Definitely needs renovations and better pest control.

My room was in poor condition—peeling paint on the walls, an old, worn-out jacuzzi, and worst of all, the room had a serious spider problem. I was bitten seven times during my stay. This place clearly needs better maintenance and pest control. I would not recommend staying here until improvements are made

We arrived at 4pm after 6 hours of driving to check-in to a room we had reserved weeks in advance. The lady at the front desk acknowledged that check-in was at 3, but said the room wouldn’t be ready for a while. She suggested we come back in 30 or 40 minutes. I told her we didn’t have anywhere to go, so she reluctantly allowed us to wait in the lobby. I’m not one to nitpick, but the room was dirty, the couch was heavily stained, there appeared to be mold on the bathroom ceiling, and we had to fill the bathtub with the shower head because the faucet was broken (we have small children). The breakfast was a disappointment as well. I wish I could post pictures on here to backup what I’m saying. We paid for two nights but left after one because it was that bad. It didn’t ruin our trip or anything, but I wouldn’t recommend this property and I won’t stay with this chain in the future.

The outside of the building looks great, the inside needs a little work. The rooms are in need of some deep cleaning! The floors felt icky… the bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was AMAZING!!! The door to our room needs some maintenance as it did not want to open all the way because the arm at the top kept falling and kept the door from opening. You could also see into the hallway at the edge of the door and it did not close all the way and we would have to make sure it closed completely. The tv remote did not work and although the staff came and checked it and it would change the channels, it would not control the volume or turn the tv off. The pool area was nice and they did have a small bar and some slot machines. The breakfast area was big, but breakfast itself was not good. Although there was plenty of batter for waffles, that was all that was there besides some cereal. Everything else was gone and there was still an hour left for breakfast. I could tell there was probably bagels or bread available because there was a toaster and some cream cheese and jelly, but there was nothing there. There was barely enough milk for cereal also. It was very close to St Louis and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to visit within 15-20 minutes. Not sure if we would stay again unless some renovations were done and it was cleaner.

The hotel is old. The bathroon was very dirty. And the bathtub in horrible situation. Dirty, yellow, not cleaned, it smelled bad. With moisture on the curtains and they were not changed. Soap was not changed on arrival. Room was not ventilated as well. I found blood on the sheets which was not well washed. You can not offer this to the next client just to take his money for the stay. It was disgusting.

Front desk was nice but first room had mold on the AC vents and smelled like dollar store disinfectant. The second room, also had mold but this time it was on the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Only had 1/2 roll of TP and several light bulbs out through t the room. would not recomend.

Breakfast offered was very nice. Bagels, Yogurt, Cereal, Coffee, Pancakes, sliced bread, butter, jelly. Comparing w/ the other 3 options right on the same region, it is worth paying a little bit more. The extra will be 4x less for you having breakfast at a Starbucks. The other hotels didn't offer breakfast at this time.

Well, for the cost x benefit, the place was OK for a short stay. Don't have anything to complain about.

The property is well-overdue for upgrades/renovations. The staff was friendly and professional…especially the ladies who made up the rooms. The elevator is scary.
