ロケーション。ペラヘラ祭りのパレードに面していました。コロニアルな建築も風情がありました。朝食を作ってくれた女性も大変に親切で、朝の列車で時間がなかった私達のために、ランチボックスに手早く仕立ててくれました

事前のホテルでのやりとりでは、ペラヘラ祭りをホテルのバルコニー席から見られるとの説明でしたが、実際にはバルコニーは警察の指導で閉鎖されてました。一階のコリドーから見られるとのことでしたが、実際には通りに出てみました。幸いにも、人がそれほどいなかったので、問題はなかったですが、バルコニー閉鎖は分かっていた筈なので、事前のやりとりの時に、正しく伝えるべきでした。 雰囲気はあるものの、施設は古く、部屋は湿気があり、あまり清潔感はないです。事前の口コミで大凡の想像はしてましたが、バルコニー席からペラヘラ祭りを見られるから、覚悟して予約しただけに、それが出来なかったので、がっかりしました。 レストランのスタッフは、素人じみていて、中の一人の女性は、高圧的な口調で他のゲストに接していました。勝手にドリンクを飲んだり、何やら文句を言い合ったり… 全体的にスタッフ管理がよく出来ていません。

Lo único que me ha gustado de este hotel ha sido la ducha. Todo lo demás es demasiado simple y viejo

La habitación es pequeña, demasiado simple, muy viejo. Poco amables para el nivel de amabilidad que hay en el país. El desayuno no merece la pena. La puerta de la habitación no se podía cerrar y el agua era rellenada por ellos en lugar de agua mineral.

It was the perfect location to see the Perahera. Rooms were in the colonial vibe, which was nice.

The food was ok-ish but nothing special. But we expected higher standards because of the price range of this hotel.

Unique place full of history.with that comes a few downsides…. It was as quiet as you could expect in a busy part of town. The room had a slight damp smell so avoid if that’s an issue but for me it was minor compared to the fun of staying in a historic spot. Staff were wonderfully helpful with tricky taxi arrangements ( I had a tight timeline to see perahera festival and still get to the airport) . Loved it all

Nothing . Apart from slight damp smell. Aircon in room was excellent but it’s the only place that you get it.

A charming British colonial hotel in the heart of Kandy. Our room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with a lovely courtyard view. Breakfasts were super generous and delicious, served on the balcony overlooking the street. Staff were exceptional—helpful with transport and tickets to the Kandyan dance. Highly recommend!

Beautiful colonial style hotel. Elegant room and an upstairs restaurant with balcony windows, we enjoyed watching the world go by over a great breakfast or leisurely dinner. Staff were kind and helpful. It was really handy for the lake, temple, dancing etc.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room!
