Pros - good selection of drink and snacks (some drinks and snacks in the room would cost) - spacious and clean room - has bath robes, shoes polish and slippers - the receptionist was quick and friendly - good aircon - the shower heats quickly and consistently (many hotels in Cbr i stayed in the past, shower water was slow to warm up and kept switching from hot to cold water, but not here) Cons - wifi didn't work - the drain or toilet in the bathroom was making some sort of gobbling sound, once in approx 2hrs at night it woke me up few times (plumbing issue?) - toilet roll located awkwardly from the toilet seat, was a but difficult to reach - cannot cast on TV

Beautiful art deco hotel with central atrium looking onto bar/restaurant. Very good dinner and breakfast at hotel and reasonably priced. On a busy intersection/roundabout but not much traffic at night when we wanted to sleep. Easy parking. Good value

Excellent service and hotel is very conveniently positioned

Food was good and staff in The Diplomate restaurant were good. The spa bathroom had a significant number of mould especially the shower/spa. The door behind the bathroom had been painted over at the bottom instead of repairing the mould area. The mould has likely occurred because the exhaust did not work so the wall, glass, and other amenities were covered in steam/water after using the shower. We were out each day until 1.30pm to 2pm and housekeeping staff were unavailable for the three booking stays between 8am and 1.30pm were out. Between 2pm and 5pm we indicated guest privacy. Still no housekeeping staff by the time we arrived 8pm - 9pm. This was $1,000 for three nights for a King Spa hotel room but we couldn't use the spa due to the mould and cracking of the tile of bath.. This was supposed to be a 4.5 star hotel, not even close.

Great hotel and excellent value

Surprised no receptionist.... after yelling for help i was greeted by a woman saying receptionist was in a meeting and what did I want....... my answer to check in. The rest was great. Enjoyed Happy Hour and good clean comfortable room.
