Great affordable option for LaPorte area. Rooms are clean, and staff super friendly. Pool, steam shower & sauna. Free coffee and water in the mornings. If you need a lot of extras and ambience thia is not the place for you. If you want convience and support a family who is working on reviving a former chain hotel, then this IS the place for you! It was cute to see families playing bags in the central artrium. Quiet time is 10pm-10am.

The staff was friendly and the room was quiet, but the room condition itself was poor. The tv didn't work and there were things missing from the room. Chair in room had stains on it and the lock on the door was missing. There was only one ice machine working in the entire building.

in my opinion this place is past its prime, either a complete makeover or remodel because think it was kind of dumpy, was recommended for a place to stay for after a wedding reception, i would be hard pressed to recommend to anyone else

There was a roach in our room. The water wouldn't stay inside the walk-in shower. The water pressure was terrible, and the shower head needs replaced. Nothing comes out of most of the holes, no matter what spray setting you put the shower head on. The free breakfast was terrible. You had to make your own waffles in one single waffle iron. So they had a long line waiting to use it. They provided non-stick spray, but everyone was still having to dig their waffles out of the waffle iron. They also had danishes, but they were tiny and stale. They also don't enforce the no smoking signs outside the front door. You couldn't walk in or out of the building without walking through a cloud of smoke. And they didn't seem to mind who used the handicapped parking spaces. My husband advised them that there were vehicles in the handicapped spaces without handicapped plates or placards, and the staff only denied his claim. They didn't even check for themselves.

One of the worst places I've stayed. Very dirty and unkept. Nothing worked, including WiFi and cell service. Felt very unsafe during my stay.

I had an overnight stay. The room was clean and spacious. The price per night was more than fair. I would stay at this hotel again.

Horrible experience overall! 0-10! When we arrived our key did not work and when it did we entered into a bathroom with standing water in the tub and staff tried talking me out of getting a new room until I demanded it. Hot tub was broken and not working. Place was huge and was probably nice in 1979, but does not look like it has been updated since then. Breakfast was so sketchy I did one lap of it and decided not to eat anything offered.
