Pine Lake Resort and Banquets

The rate was great. The staff was great. The outside was nasty and trashed Weeds, trash, the pictures online are a lie. It is dated and it looks like they are doing renovations so that may be the reason. Our room had one window in the bathroom hall, we had a big window that faced the inside hall. Never saw this in a hotel before. The rooms were actually decent and updated, that’s only reason we stayed. It’s not the worst but a step or two above. The rate and the room makes it worth staying.

Staff was helpful at check in. Room was clean and close by my activities for the weekend. Checked out at 630a a day early and had to wake the night clerk up to hand in keys. Early departure was due to change of plans not the accommodations.I would stay there again when in the area

Old. Depressing. Outside property needed to be mowed and weeds pulled. The atrium area needed help. The furniture outside of each room were old and depressing. Would not want to sit in them. The elevators were dirty. Needed to vacuum door groves. The greenery in the atrium area was in need of tending. Too much dirt and only a little plant. I would not recommend.

Clean, staff responded quickly after we called about fireworks outside our room: back parking lot.

We were a little disappointed that the hot tub was closed due to maintenence. Other than that we had a good stay. It was our second booking and we plan on booking the next time we go to Laporte.

Overall cleanliness was not great. Pillows are not comfy. Many locals live in the hotel and walk around like it’s their house with no shoes or shirts etc when they go to get breakfast. There were burn marks all over the bathroom. Many of the past attractions ( restaurant, arcade, etc are closed)
