Quality Inn Rutland - Killington

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be of of assistance. Breakfast was good. While the room was clean, the property was a bit run down.

My stay was nice until I saw a mouse in the hall run into a hole in the wall.

Breakfast room was filthy and I was woken up at 2 am by a mouse in my room. Discusting. I told the front desk clerk but he said he had to wait for the manager to arrive. I was gone early so I did not deal with him

Second time staying at this property. A good location. A decent value for the money. Comfortable beds. First time: refrigerator badly needed defrosting; was too noisy as a result. Second time: the toilet drained very slowly, and so was sort of clogged. Whoever cleaned the room did not address that; did not make the beds; did not replenish the shampoo so that we had run out (there were three of us in the room); in fact did not do anything except gave us fresh towels. When I brought this up to the manager on duty (Rick?) his reply was "I will let them know." Not quite sure who "they" were (the owners? GM? the cleaning staff?) but apparently a remedy or even an apology was too much to expect. When I also brought up the toilet, he asked me if I wanted a plunger. Back in the room, the kids showed me a gummy worm by the bed that must have been sitting there for months (it was rock hard :) in plain sight. Also, a 3"x3" piece is ripped out of the carpet in the hallway. How do you do that? And why not replace it?

The hotel seemed like it recently had poor construction. The room we got put in, had a deadbolt that wouldnt work, the lock didnt match the hole in the door. They were more tha. Helpful to.switch my room and make sure that the room had a fridge and microwave. The pool was fine, but no shallow end its stsirs that go into 4deet so if you dont have floats for littles you will have tonjoin them. The pool.room was ok, kinda low budget but the water was decent to.swim in. The bathrooms in the pook room were gross. The brekafast was good but the room was super small especially with lots of guest in it...very har to.walk around.. Also the keys deactivated alot on us that was super inconvient,but the staff was super helpful thoughout

Very tired hotel. Needs upgrades.

I’d like to thank the people at the Quality Inn for making my traveling so much easier. Thank you to Paula for being so accommodating and thank you to Lisa for always being so nice and willing to help. I am a traveling nurse and work doubles from afternoons thru overnights. I’m very comfortable here and would recommend The Q.I. to all my fellow traveling nurses.

Breads were stale with mold, sausages were cooked day before. No pancakes. Dirty kitchen
