"After wedding stay"

We stayed here after a wedding at the Ponds Venue in Beach City. Hotel is about 10 minutes away and convienent. The staff was wonderful and kept the bar/restaurant open late for us. Food was good, affordable and they made a great lemon drop shot. The room was overall clean and the beds decently comfortable. If we’re ever back in the area we’d stay here again. Also, the review that gave a 1 star review and said there was poop in the hot tub is a lie. We asked, because how do we not ask about human poop in the pool, and the staff said it was a paint chip and they have video footage of her in the hot tub for over a half hour before she complained - and the hot tub is pretty small so she would’ve just been sitting in there with poop 😂 Staff was so great, funny, and made the stay the best. 10/10

The room itself was clean.

The smoke of cigarette and weed smoke everywhere. We had to put down a towel under the entry door to keep the smell of smoke out. The smoking problem is so blatant we found cigarette butts in the stairwell and in the elevator. Also many lights were not working in the room. None of the bathroom lights worked, so to use the bathroom, the door had to be open.

While the food absolutely did not meet any expectations for breakfast, the room did. It was nice and clean. The pub also was pricey but the bartender was super sweet. The attendant at the front desk when we checked in was really nice. I plan on staying again next month if the price is right. The pool we did not use, and it did not look all that clean.

The location is nice . The pool and hot are ok .

The front doors do not have automatic doors, we have a wheelchair. The smell of cigarettes in the entire hotel is horrible. The breakfast is the worst the only thing good about it is a waffle you make yourself. The hot tub needs work. Tvs need updated so that you can watch more even if logging into your own accounts.
