Mountain Retreat Hotel

Perfect location for running around Squamish (sea to sky gondola, Chief Trail) 5 minute drive from the town centre, with plenty of parking makes the commute easy. Ideal for exploring.

We were told we could not use any hotel amenities after checkout which was a bit inconvenient for this trip. That should be permitted as long as access to the room isn’t needed, but other than that it was great for a one night stay. The waterslide is crazy fun!!

Nice rooms. Indoor pool, with cool water slide, and hot tub are a real plus. No free breakfast is a negative. Good location for seeing sites near Squamish, such as Shannon Falls and the Sea to Sky Gondolas. Only food within walking distance was fast food (Wendy's and Tim Horton). Rooms need more plugs and some USB ports.

Great location, helpful staff and changed the room we were in when the keys didn’t work but the night receptionist very rude and dismissive and failed to use manners

The water slide was the highlight of our stay!

The staff were nice, the area was quiet and close enough to the shops. Our toilet paper roll had one single sheet of toilet paper left on it and instead of swapping it out the folded the single piece to make it look nice... the pool was musty and mildewy smelling and the hot tub had a greenish tinge to the water. The waterslide was super fun but because the water looked so dirty we got out pretty quickly to shower off.

Staff were very friendly

Clean bedroom and bathroom; very nice staff!

Needs some updates, A/C unit was not working.
