Four Points by Sheraton Wakefield Boston Hotel & Conference Center

There's so much positive to say about this hotel from the people at the front desk who were fantastic, to the warm cookies and fruited water that we were met with when we first arrived. Shane at the front desk was so helpful with extending our stay and the 2 women who waited on us at the pub were fantastic and fun to talk with. Special shout out to the lovely woman who greeted us at the delicious breakfast every morning. So much hospitality from everyone! Rooms were clean and nice. The whole experience was 5 stars! We stayed 5 nights and will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Terrible. My wife and I are seasoned travelers. It takes a lot for me to write a review, because we are basically tolerant of issues. But..... This was bad. Arrived June 10th for 4 nights. We had booked this hotel likely a month before. We were put into a room that looks nothing like the pictures used on their website. It was very old and tired, with nicked up furniture galore, and a rattling old AC unit. We asked at the desk why, and were told the rooms they use to market their hotel are only in the "tower". We were also told that corporate has refused to add the pictures of the room we were in, which was basically above the front desk as you walk in. Most would call that false advertising. Next day, we ask to be moved to the tower, and were told that would be ok, and that we wouldn't be put by an elevator. The front desk put our bags behind the counter, and we left for the day. Upon returning at 6 pm, we were told they didn't have a room for us. They thought we had left, even though our bags were literally right next to the desk help that evening. They then scrambled and put us in the tower, second floor, next to the elevator. Youth Sports teams went unattended up and down the hall, and loved to talk loudly, right by the elevator. Next day, we got moved again to the 8th floor, and that was better. The staff is kind, but sure gave us the run around. When we returned home, we were overcharged over $500,00. I called and we were quickly refunded. I decided to send a letter to the hotel to let them know about our experience, and not post a negative review. online. The GM, or assistant GM Mr. Germano, was kind enough to respond back, and offered a $300.00 refund for our troubles. He asked if that would be acceptable. I responded via email again, that that would be fine, but was not the purpose for my complaint. I never heard from him again, even though I sent follow up emails and even called the front desk again, who assured me that they would give him the message from me. But Crickets. Nothing. Nada. Enough already. Send in the poor review, (Again, nice staff but unorganized, and nice breakfast.) We hope your stay is better. In our our travels, which are many, we have never come close to being treated so poorly.

We recently stayed at Four Points Sheraton for a weekend wedding at Willowdale Mansion. We had a wonderful stay and everything was perfect. We had a block of rooms for the groom's family and everyone raved about the hotel and the amenities. This was due 100% to Katie McManus and her incredible competency and professionalism. No question or problem was too small and she enthusiastically responded to every email, long after she should have gone home for the night. She stayed on site to make sure the welcome bags were delivered and went above and beyond with assuring us that all would be taken care of. The welcome video and signs and the hospitality suite were a special touch and very appreciated. The hotel itself is stunning with a grand entrance and gorgeous 2 story balcony. The rooms were clean and all amenities were perfect.

Fantastic hotel. Great staff (thanks to Scott at front desk). Nice breakfast. Safe, clean, no noise at all. Loved being so close to the Marketplace! Reasonable price. Will stay here again.

Please do not book at this hotel. First of all, the photos shown of the rooms on Expedia are not real. When you get to the room, everything is old and obsolete, the carpets are very damp, and the bathrooms have stained bathtubs. The customer service is terrible because when you complained, they accepted that the photos are not real. In conclusion, what they offer is not what they offer through Expedia. Stay away from this hotel!!!!
