The ac didn’t work in one of the 2 rooms

We are long time Marriott Bonvoy members but I think this has been my favorite hotel room ever. My husband used his upgrade coupon and we ended up in a top floor suite with a rooftop wrap around balcony. Our weather hasn’t been great but I bet the views are stunning on a clear day. The hotel is situated in the financial district, a block from Lake Zurich. Our suite is cheery and modern with a large soaking tub and rain head shower. I slept very well in our comfortable bed. We have been able to walk everywhere given the central location. We had intended to take the Lake Zurich ferry a block away to the Lindt factory today but opted out due to the weather. We did enjoy the FIFA museum 2 block away. Our breakfast in the restaurant was very good and we appreciated our turn down chocolates. We made heavy use of the umbrellas they share. The staff is extremely helpful, cheerful and patient.

In a more residential area close to shopping and 2 blocks from the lake. 5-10 min walk to the old town. The decor was great loved our room all was well appointed clean and tidy. Recently renovated which was great. Quiet hotel centrally located. The Enge train station is about a 5 min walk from the hotel which connects you to the main train station and Airport within 15-20 min. Check in and check out was quick and painless. Overall, a good hotel. Would recommend although the price point was quite high. Our A/C worked fine and kept the room quite cool. If you open the windows the A/C will shut off the display panel will indicate that.

Not sure what is 5 stars about this hotel... Many of the rooms are run down, and to make things worse the AC does not work. I changed 3 rooms during my stay and same problem with all the rooms. Loud air conditioning that does not cool. Rooms at over 25 degrees while outside temperature is low 20s...

My wife and I stayed here. We picked it because of the location and the usually-dependable "Autograph Collection" Marriott brand. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and professional, but it's time for the owners to write a check to replace carpets and paint walls. We had an initial problem with the room, which the staff dealt with quickly. However the carpet in our room had so many stains that it would be an embarrassment for a two-star hotel...but this is supposed to be a five-star hotel. Not even close. Every wall in the room had multiple scuff marks...no real damage, just cosmetically unappealing. It seems like 15 minutes and a pint of paint would easily solve the problem (at least for the room we stayed in). Even if the carpets were new and the walls were freshly pained, I think it would be a major stretch to call this a 5-star hotel, but the staff did provide 5-star service. Our experience was certainly not terrible, but the hotel is not commensurate with the price....even for Zurich. We really liked Zurich and will definitely be back, but we won't be staying here again.

Everything you would want from a hotel room. Clean, comfortable and spacious.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Poor service from a server who fealt like everything was chore, plus an unimpressive spread.

To be honest nothing

Everything. The staff is clueless and don’t make you feel comfortable. The lady who welcomed us was not professional at and she was asking personal questions which was awkward. I also had an issue with my room as chrome cast wasn’t connecting my phone to tv to play Netflix or YouTube Etc and they said sorry we can’t dot anything except downgrading to my room so I can’t have this service !!!! Plus the price it’s t worth it giving the fact the experience I had. The doorman were nice and helpful other than I have nothing good to say about this miserable hotel.
