GiliZen Resort - Private Pool Villas

Beautiful villa and pool. Sanctuary.

I am having to try really hard to think of something….but I guess the beds weren’t the most comfiest!

The breakfast is generous and delicious Fabulous pool

Ok where to start The hotel is 25 minutes walk for anything worth seeing The room wasnt cleaned properly every day, we had to remind them to change the used coffee mugs and glasses and other things Their breakfast is only served in your room ( they have an option to serve it in a pool basket, but it seems like they only have one in the whole hotel because they asked back for it 15 minutes after bringing the breakfast) and even if they claim to be a family friendly property they had no high chair for our baby Also dont expect everything to be fresh and abundant. We saw day after the size of the fruit bowl shrinking and we clearly felt like the bread we havent ate the day before was served to us the next day. They dont have expresso machines but their coffee was still decent ( filter ) They propose to rent bikes through them that arent cheap, but the bikes dont have any lights and in Gili Air at night you only have public lights on 50% of the island ( when I asked at the reception if they had some pocket lights to lend us they laughed)
