L'hôtel se situe dans un cadre idyllique, en bord de plage avec ponton. Personnel attentionné, accès gratuit à paddle/kayak, restaurant excellent (smoothies, tacos...) en revanche prix élevés, chambres spacieuses et confortables, hôtel propre et très bien entretenu, petite piscine avec vue sur la mer, ambiance relaxante et calme. Séjour au top ! Je recommande les yeux fermés. Une pépite parmi tous les hôtels que j'ai pu faire dans la région.

Casa Altamar is so nicely decorated. It is beautiful! The beach is clean, the pool is nice too. The food they serve is tasty and the hosts are super friendly as well. You are very close to Casa Cenote

They stop serving drinks and food after 21:30 (People really stay there to relax) so if you fancy a vibrant place I would recommend to stay somewhere else. For relaxing this hotel is perfect!! Keep in mind you need a car to reach Tulum Pueblo

Liked the location of the hotel. Located right in front of beach with a board walk to enter the ocean to go snorkeling. There is a reef about 20min of snorkeling there where you find lots of fish to see. The ocean floor at the beach is quite rocky and shallow, so swimming should be done from the dock where the water is deeper. The sand on the beach is not fine sand that you will find in CANCÚN. The hotel has 20 rooms and 1 room with complete ocean views. The swimming pool is located beside the hotel with full view of the beach. The hotel is located 12 km from Tulum, and it would be advisable to have a car. The rooms are quite simple without T.V, mini bar nor a clock radio. The room has a big bathroom with a large shower. There is 1 big closet and the bed is king size. Air-conditioning and a sliding door to a very small balcony. There was only 1 chair in the room so you could not sit down together except by being on the bed. The staff is very friendly. There is also a restaurant on the second floor and the roof is like a gathering place for a party. There were no lounge chairs if you wanted to sunbathe there. Only on the beach and swimming pool. There are paddle boards and kayaks to use without charge. The food and drinks were very expensive and below par for the cost of the meals. The cost of the hotel is very reasonable but like mentioned above you would need a car or take a taxi that are located at the entrance gate about a 10 min walk. It is also possible to take the collectivo that you would catch on the 307 highway, but that requires a 20-minute walk to the highway. This hotel would be a great place to just stay there and relax without the hustle and bustle of tourists such as Cancun and Playa Del Carmen.

Difficult to travel to the cities. Lack of amenities, such as T.V clock radio and mini bar. Rocky ocean floor.

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel direkt am Strand. Wir hatten erstmal für 2 Nächte gebucht. Kurz vor unserm Aufenthalt wurden wir in Tulum Stadt beraubt. Wir hatten quasi nur noch die Sachen die wir am Leib trugen, als wir im Hotel eincheckten. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert und mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet. Sie haben uns die Kosten der Übernachtung erlassen und uns sehr bei den Formalitäten mit der Botschaft geholfen. Hier nochmal einen ganz besonderen Dank an Angel. Wir mussten leider nach der ersten Nacht abreisen, weil wir die Formalitäten für neue Pässe mit dem Consulat in Cancun regeln mussten. Doch was wir von dem Hotel gesehen haben, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ich wäre gerne geblieben. Unter normalen Umständen hätten wir wahrscheinlich auch unseren Aufenthalt auch verlängert. Es ist wirklich so wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben eine selbst gebuchte Rundreise gemacht und waren so bei der Auswahl der Hotels und der Länge der Aufenthalten sehr flexibel. Noch einmal ein ganz großes Dankeschön an Euch!!!! Wir wissen nicht was wir ohne Euch gemacht hätten. Die Hilfsbereitschaft und Unterstützung von Euch werden wir nie vergessen. Bettina und Olaf

This place is absolutely paradise if you are looking for a relaxed stay away from the touristic Center of Tulum/Playa Del Carmen. Very few people around. Private Clean Beach with beautiful ocean and reef. You can use SUPs and Kajaks for free! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Good working A/C. I want to emphasize the really welcoming and helpful staff; We felt like staying with friends. Also, they gave us an outstanding hearty welcome when we arrived. One of our best stays during our vacation in Yucatan! Also Check Out the Cenote which is only a 10 min's walk!

There were electricity outages a few times. Be aware It's hard to come around when you don't have a car. The area is rural and Taxis are expensive. I cannot recommend the Restaurant. The prices are way too high (like everywhere in the area) and the quality was not good either.

Amazing staff in the restaurant. Very attentive and addresses everyone personally by name. Amazing food quality of a very high end restaurant. Huge comfy bed. Very clean

Shower water pressure could be increased and WiFi could be better in room. Fridges in room would be useful but restaurant let us store drinks in their fridge. These are extremely minor things that can be forgotten though.

Amazing, staff always friendly, felt like home!
