La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Minneapolis Northwest

The hotel is rather old, so things are "frayed around the edges". The bathrooms we had only closed with sliding doors, which were VERY dirty, and didn't allow for much privacy. The coffeemaker didn't work. Wi fi was out, never came back in the two days we were there. Breakfast was just ok. Hot items not good, sausages small and gray, potatoes hot outside, frozen inside. But other choices were fine for children, bread and cereal items good selection. Staff was great, friendly and as helpful as they can be.

The location is good. Near shopping centers, gyms, grocery stores and the highway but the area was quiet. The rooms seem like they are mid renovation. The shower was updated and had bulk personal care items. Other parts of the room and hotel seemed outdated. I found the room to be extremely humid, the air felt damp to breathe. I disliked how the entire hotel seemed to have a single elevator, which made it busy all the time to use.

Evening staff was nice especially Bobbi.

The overall stay was okay, the elevator had to be reset when we were leaving, so we had to haul bags down three flights of stairs.

Stayed here for a dog show with my dog> All was welcoming and so I rated it Excellent for the cost.

Wonderful absolutely wonderful

I liked the staff, and the room was nice. The floor was dirty in the room, but everything else was good

I have never stayed at a bad La Quinta, but this one was by far the nicest. Lady's first day at the receptions desk did great! Loved the quiet grounds around the area to walk our dog :)

Everything was very clean and in good condition. Staff was helpful.
