Mercure St Albans Noke

Fantastic accommodation, the people exceptionally friendly. Location right on a busy roundabout was the only issue.

Way below standard for a Mercure hotel. Room was old and tired. Very old furniture, dusty not clean, shower didn’t work.

Very pleasant shall definitely come back !

From the colourful floral entrance to the super comfy beds.

Room a bit dark , but that’s location, value for money excellent. Food basic but good.

Water and hot chocolate in room. Not enough disabled parking.

Looks lovely and well presented. The room decor was a little dated, you could say classic but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovey and you also have a choice of cooked breakfast from the menu as well as the cooked buffet.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Room spacious and comfortable. Restaurant good both for dinner and breakfast

Positives were the welcoming and very helpful bar and reception staff. Food served until late at night and was a good standard for pub fayre. Bed very uncomfortable and felt smaller than a standard double. A wedding at the venue made for a restless night with doors slamming and chatting/arguing outside the room. Wouldn’t chose to stay again.

Really nice hotel. Very good leisure facilities with a fully equipped gym. Breakfast was great with the usual buffet style but you could also request something more specific. The hotel is slightly tired looking, but overall completely fine. Ideal for a weekend away or business trip. Probably going to be coming back for business trips and airport overnight stays, as it’s close to Heathrow (about 35 mins)
