Mercure St Albans Noke

Apart from being woken by a fire alarm in the middle of the night and the loud wedding reception going on, we had a lovely stay here. Friendly and welcoming staff, amazing pizza and great cocktails at the bar. The room was good too.

In need of refurbishing. Quite tatty room and bathroom. Rooms a good size but all brown and dark. A pity, it could be so much better. I didn't pay a lot and it was clean so didn't expect much.

Staff we great and it was very clean but some of the areas looked very tired, for example, tired carpet on the stairs, only cosmetic though as everything was clean and worked well. The shower in the room was really nice.

Old hotel that need some renovation, Windiws are made of rotten wood, no air conditioning in the room just an elevator truc radiator and a stand alone fan, very hard towels, having to climb into a high bath to have a shower. High rates for what you get.

Stay was ok. Used the gym facilities which where adequate. Needs som updating.the hotel is situated on a very busy round about so I found noise to be an issue when trying to watch to or sleep. New windows could help this

Nice hotel but a bit tired looking

Stayed in this hotel for my partners birthday, got an amazing greeting and the staff were fantastic! We got excellent service and may I add a lovely man named Aaron at front desk made our stay brilliant! Will defiantly be staying again

The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The room was comfortable but the would have benefitted from redecoration and upgrading. The facilities are a little 'tired'.

Excellent place to stay to be near Kingfisher Court Hospital although roundabouts and major motorways a bit daunting as we are older drivers. Reception staff couldn't have been kinder, running off a map for us to help us.
