It was another fine stay at this place. Some of their policies have changed, like now they charge $5 per card if they are not returned. I've stayed here many times over the years. I've been able to check in slightly early in the past if the room is available (not this time, the main boss was standing by the guy usually running the desk and he said it would be $25 for for early check in or an hour an a half early). The rooms are fine. There is a type of gym that plays really loud music early in the morning.
Double bed had two separate bedrooms

The mattress are on their last leg both had huge indents from wewr and tear. Need to buy new mattress for the room
Very conveniently located. Within walking distance of downtown. Only downside: nearby gas station was sometimes noisy.
Most shops and restaurants are within walking distance and right next to the freeway for costal access.
Best bed on our entire trip of hotels! Would stay there again for quick easy lodging in S.L.O.!
Stayed two nights with my wife in the room which has one queen bed for a short vacation trip. It was good enough for our expectation and the price. The only thing we didn't like is a small uncomfortable shower.
