TownePlace Suites Dulles Airport

John was so incredibly friendly, even with it being 1:00 am when we checked in. After a long day of travel, it was very appreciated.

The property was dingy and worn out. The room was small and the furniture misplaced. The TV was placed on a night stand near the foot of the bed, making it nearly impossible to use one side of the bed due to there being no room to get past the tv. The room smelled like fried food. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Super convenient location minutes from IAD with clean room, GREAT bed, and awesome staff.

This is a long-term hotel, but our family of 5 found ourselves staying here for just one night before an early morning flight out of IAD. Staff are helpful and make themselves available to assist, even at off hours. Our flight was very early in the morning--before the scheduled 6am breakfast service was to begin. Staff helped us by putting together a small breakfast bag for us to take with us to the airport. They didn't have to do that. But they did.

Great one night stay. Ideal for long term trips as well. The hotel is close to Dulles Airport but not walkable to restaurants and shopping.

The Marriott TownePlace Suites Dulles property exceeded my expectations. This hotel rocks in six of six hotel business functions; I consider key for the business traveler: 1) customer-centric staff, 2) food management, 3) accommodations, 4) hotel technology, 5) exercise options, and 6) location. First, the management employs customer-centric employees. The hotel night manager—John—was very kind and considerate during the check-in period. He recognized by Elite membership status. He demonstrated great consideration for my arrival and check-in. Second, the breakfast options were better than the average buffet-style tastes. Specifically—the breakfast options were fresh and palatable. Nicely done. Early work arrival needs were made possible through this morning grab and go option. Third, the room accommodations were very clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary toiletries were standard brands. The room furnished with a full kitchen. The decor was dated but not worn out. The small things made up for it. A complimentary bag of Cheez-It with a bottle of water. And to top is off, two Andes mints were placed on the center pillow. A classy way of saying hello and welcome. Excellent. This is the only Marriott TownePlace Suites hotel—I know of—providing such personalization. Fourth, the hotel technology was up to date. Fast internet. However, guest computers and printers were easily accessible in the lobby; for no charge. The elevators required no secure card to access floors. Fifth, the hotel’s workout room was clean and provided fresh work-out towels. Weights and treadmills available. Sanitizing wipes were available. Filtered water-machine worked. Sixth, the hotel’s location is only minutes away from Dulles airport, chain restaurants, gas stations, and easy access to major throughways. I will definitely stay here again. The traveler gets more for the price.

I always like a place that has a full kitchen when I'm staying any extended amount of time because it allows me the opportunity to save money by cooking my own dinner.What i was disappointed in was due to problems with my flight i checked in extremely late & my check out was very early I'd hope to get a reduction for 2 of my nights stay.Other wise i was very pleased.This is my 2nd time staying at a D.C. I only had a one night stay but I made the most of it. My company booked the room and from the info I was given they had courtesy airport transportation I called when I got close to the baggage claim and was told to go and wait at curb 2H. I waited for over an hour. Called again and talked to Heather informed me that they have a shuttle service with Best Western, Holiday inn and Hampton inn, and that one should be there in 15 minutes. She was also willing to pay for a cab if I took one. Once at the hotel I got a room early to relax before having to head back to the airport for an evening class. Heather arranged for me a ride back to the airport. The room was nice clean and comfortable. If I was able to stay longer I would have took full advantage of the kitchentte. Bed was ok but I really loved the love seat. The breakfast is just like any other free breakfast at hotels but was still good. Seating was limited in the breakfast area so I took it back to my room and took advantage of using real silverware and enjoyed the comfiness of the love seat. Over all great stay other then the airport shuttle misunderstanding. I really enjoyed the Andes mints on the bed.

The women at the front desk were excellent.
