Amari Koh Samui

Second time we have been here within a year. Location is just on the outskirts of main area of town just a 10-15 minute walk away. Rooms are spacious and comfy king size beds. I think we got value for our money, particularly with the great selection on offer for breakfast. Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. Hotel grounds are kept immaculate with a team of gardeners out there every day attending to the beautiful surrounds of the very green gardens and sweeping up dropped leaves and petals. I didn't have any problems with noise though my husband said the people in the room next to us woke him up in the early hours of the morning having an argument but I did not hear a thin. It was lovely to see some of the same faces as our last stay like Penn, May, Noung and Zeed. Always on the go these 4 always working hard and looking after the guest's. It was lovely to see Oaf in the garden pool bar again, another one and his tea.who is always looking after guest's around the pools. We had a couple of messages at the Breeze spa upstairs in the hotel, it was a great experience and Dao and Siew were fantastic. Perfect amount of pressure, along with the surrounding, decor and atmosphere during massage made the whole experience most enjoyable (would definitely recommend the Breeze scrub package). All in all great time had yet again and will definitely be back xx.

Amazing experience. From the room to the pool, everything is great and well done. Special mention of Penn, working at the breakfast buffet and also Apple at the front desk. They helped me a lot and were all time super nice and friendly. See you again soon :)

We recently stayed at Amari Koh Samui as a group of eight, across four rooms, and four nights and absolutely loved our experience. We stayed at the Thai wing with pool facing rooms that were splendid and next to each other. The rooms are spread out well and resonate with the local thai architecture-love the wood work. The hospitality stood out from the very start — the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even heating milk for the kids every night without hesitation. The resort’s location is ideal, right by the beach and just a short walk from Chaweng Road, yet blissfully quiet and peaceful. Convenient stores like 7-Eleven are close by, which made things even easier. The beachfront is beautiful, with soft white sand and clean surroundings — perfect for walks and sunsets. The only downside is the water, which had a bit of algae during our visit, making it less ideal for swimming. That said, the resort’s atmosphere more than made up for it. Their tourism desk was excellent too — fairly priced and efficient, helping us plan a great snorkelling trip. One of the nicest surprises was that Amari didn’t charge a deposit, unlike many other hotels in the area. Overall, it’s a warm, well-run resort that strikes the perfect balance between family-friendly comfort and easy access to everything Koh Samui has to offer. Highly recommended! Loved the breakfast spread. They have an Indian selection along with an assortment of western dishes and some Thai options too. The live soup station is something worth trying. Their breads and confectionary were out of the world, especially their gluten-free brownies. Apart from the lovely made-to-order coffee and tea the staff accomodated our vegetarian requirements. Since we had to leave early on the day of check out, they also gave us boxes to take some confectionary for the kids. Fresh food, delivered with a smile.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Amari Koh Samui! The resort is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the staff are warm and welcoming. A very special thank you to Chef Jatin, who went above and beyond to ensure all our Indian Hindu dietary requirements were met. He personally prepared special meals for us every morning and made sure everything was suitable for our needs. It was such a comfort and joy to have an Indian chef who truly understood and respected our religious requirements — and the food he made was absolutely delicious! We truly appreciated the extra effort and personal care — it made our experience even more memorable. Highly recommend Amari Koh Samui for anyone visiting the island! Our stay was excellent — the rooms were spotless, the atmosphere peaceful, and the breakfast delicious. A special thanks to Pen for accommodating our gluten-free needs each morning and taking such wonderful care of us.

Exceptional Service and Personalised Care! First and foremost, I am truly grateful and impressed by Jatin Sharma who went above and beyond to make our special night (proposal) that little more special. Jatin ensured everything ran smoothly , even catering a special menu just for us, which normally is not served at the hotel, and done so on his designated day off, by liaising with his team to ensure the plans we put in place met our every needs. Jatin and his team’s willingness to go that extra mile and provide a personalised service, truly exceeded my expectations. To the staff at this amazing Hotel / Resort - It’s rare to find such a lively set of staff , from the team running the breakfast and dinner service to the lads helping you cross the roads. Each and everyone always welcomes you with a warm smile and the traditional Thai greeting — I felt genuinely valued as a guest at Amari Koh Samui. Thank you for making our stay special! This was a special family holiday celebrating milestone birthdays. …. Amari staff we absolutely amazing recognising the special moments so beautifully. The children in our party were taken care of so beautifully, always gentle smiles soft words and encouragement. The food was a feast everyday, and we ate at all the restaurants at the hotel. We swam everyday in all the 3 pools, that were well maintained. I absolutely unreservedly recommend this wonderful hotel, with its professional staff and excellent accommodation.

We have been traveling to Thailand for over 16 years with 15 of those years at the Amari Koh Samui and we must say that this particular stay was the best. The resort is so beautifully presented with the most impressive gardens and swimming pools. We noticed that all the staff here seemed to be so happy and even more of a delight to be around than in previous years. After to speaking to a staff member she informed us that since the latest GM, Alex and Resort Manager Christopher have taken the reigns the Amari has never been better and I must say from a guest's perspective we fully agree. We could not fault a thing here including our magnificent beach front room, the delicious breakfast buffet with so many varied tasty options and our refreshing cocktails at the bar overlooking the beach at sunset. One particular restaurant supervisor whom for the last 14 years has looked after us, Khun Pennapa truly helped to make our stay such a happy time, she truly filled our hearts with joy. Even observing her interactions with all the other staff members and the respect and kindness she shows them was very heartening. It was obvious to us that having such a wonderful F & B Manager in Preecha and restaurant manager Takki which has brought together a great hard working yet happy team in particular with Noung, Zeed, K, Maysa, Jimmy, Honey and all the rest who I unfortunately can't recall names for. Lastly the restaurant Amaya had very tasty and fresh flavoursome food, whether it was Thai, Indian or Western. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. Thank you to everyone at Amari Koh Samui for making this a dream holiday.
