Amazing property by a river. It’s a little bit of a challenge to figure out how to get around by train, but it is possible. The breakfast buffet was incredibly good and leisurely and enjoyable for us as a family traveling to meet other family that has relatives in Japan. Highly recommend this location.

Amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant. The Wagyu beef was melt in your mouth fantastic. Great wine. The private onsen was perfect and so relaxing at the end of the night. Super comfortable bed and spacious room. Wish I had booked two nights. My only complaint is the coffee in the room is more espresso style and I love a big hearty cup of coffee in the morning. The hotel doesn’t offer coffee in the lobby which is a bummer. We didn’t add breakfast just because we don’t usually do breakfast. Great hotel, would definitely stay here again.

They provide transportation from hotel to Gora station and from there the open air museum is super close. From gora station you take the cable car for the ropeway and pirate ship. The food is amazing

It's a great hotel. Our room had a private hot spring tub with a view of the river. Convenient location with short walk to tram which connects to "Ropeway" cable cars. The restaurant is excellent.

Beautiful, comfortable room and fantastic dining service. We were extremely happy with our river view room, and used our private onsen multiple times. The thermal spring spa was also a real delight.

This comment is not related to the property. I am a very long time member of the IGH and even have the IGH one reward mastercaed. Sometimes, when I travel I find better deals on other websites, like expedia and if I find an IGH property I definitely chose it, like this time, hotel indigo hakone gora. It is not fair that because I chose a different website, I do not get points for my stay. Please consider this.
