The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. A car is not required for transportation to and from this property. Very enjoyable stay in Hakone. All the staff were very helpful the hotel onsen and private onsen on our balcony were bliss! I wish l had realised we could have got a train to Gora station and then ask for the hotel to send a car to pick us up. The shuttle is less frequent

The hotel staff is amazing, and the room is very clean. I would’ve liked more Japanese food within the restaurant, but my overall experience was excellent. The staff really helped us navigate the city.

Hotel was fine. A bit overpriced. Location was out of the way and not that beautiful in terms of natural beauty. Onsen was cheesy

The property offered a private onsen in the room with a nice view of the river, however due to the nature of the hotel there are limited amenities. Also the area around the hotel is generally inaccessible by foot as it is in a mountainous area. They do offer a complimentary shuttle bus from the nearby Odawara station to the property and back.

The only thing was the hotel only have a 6 seats van to pick up clients, guy either have to wait for 20 to 40 minutes depends, or take a bus or climb stairs to Gora station. If you can back after 6 pm, you will have to walk, like my first day, I could walk at morning due to leg muscle cramping.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was fantastic with a beautiful view, and cannot beat the private onsen to use at the end of a long day
