Hot springs access available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. One child 12 years old or younger stays free, per registered adult, when occupying the parent or guardian's room, using existing bedding. The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. A car is not required for transportation to and from this property. Free shuttle to Gora station. Room was great. plug outlets were not in convenient places. Footbath were nice near bar. Good selection for persons not used to Japanese food. Location is isolated and local restaurants only accepted cash. We found taxi best way to travel to resraurants.

Too expensive for what it offers. For the price per night, I expected far more. Let me be absolutely clear: the hospitality was above and beyond—staff were kind, responsive, and generous with their time. But the amenities? Not so much. The property has a Western-style, Colorado-hipster aesthetic that now feels a bit tired and dusty around the edges. It could use a refresh. It is also quite clearly not a Japanese-run hotel. The automatic 15% tip added to the restaurant bill is out of step with local norms—tipping is not customary in Japan, and this felt presumptuous at best. The clientele skews foreign, with some guests louder and more entitled than others. If you are looking for a Japanese experience, this is not it. Again, I appreciated the genuine hospitality, but this feels like a foreign-operated chain hotel charging an exorbitant rate for an underwhelming stay. Not worth the price. PS: If you want luxurious, try Fufu (although a tad more expensive).

"Great hotel in a convenient location "

Very nice hotel - we liked the room design, the onsen (the only time we could bathe together as it wasn't single sex), the footbath overlooking the river and the cocktails. We ate dinner one night (simple grill and just avoid the wagyu if you don't want to pay a lot) which was good. There is a brand new huge sushi restaurant 2 minutes walk away which was great and also a 7-11 (open 24 hours) if you want a lighter breakfast than the buffet the hotel offers (the only negative - I wish hotels would offer a simple breakfast option not just a buffet). The hotel was convenient for public transport (bus stop 2 mins walk away) and has a great shuttle service during the day, including to/from Odawara.
