The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). The rooms were luxurious and very comfortable. The staff was superb and the onsens were extremely relaxing. Would absolutely stay here for our next time back in Hakone.

Fantastic staff. Free shuttle bus from/to Odawara station. Very organised. Stunning spacious room with wonderful amenities. River view and private onsen beautiful. Public footbath and onsen (swimwear required!). Great location for using Hakone Free pass - there is even a quiet, walkable 20 minute shortcut to Gora train, funicular/cable car station if you are fit enough for lots of steep steps and want a lovely leafy walk! Restaurant in the evening was great- a little suited to western tastes including vegan. There is also a convenience store opposite the driveway.

An excellent stay at the Indigo Hakone Gora Hotel…everything was amazing from the friendly staff, food, accommodation and design of the property. A perfect Onsen for relaxing and surrounding areas to visit.

"Beautiful Spa"

Everything was perfect even from the very moment we stepped on the property. They offered us coffee, lemonade, and sparkling wine, and snacks while we waited for our room room. We stepped outside to the foot spa and had a cocktail and after a short wait, we were escorted to our room, beautiful clean with an amazing view. All the amenities were spot on. I highly recommend this hotel.
