Chequers Inn

The location was good. Breakfast not so good. We were a group of eight and no one else in the restaurant. We waited an hour for our breakfasts. We all had poached eggs and they were all had hard yolks

The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and dangerous. Especially if you’re an older person. I know it’s as the building is very old but maybe something could be done to make the safer.

It was an old pub

A bit tired needed some TLC

Large, clean, comfortable characterful room in a historic pub in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful,food was good

Did not have breakfast as it was not available before 9am

Very clean, helpful staff

The coffee in the room isn’t very nice
