We all had a lovely time during our visit. The staff were very welcoming but we would like to give a special mention to Courtney. She was amazing on the tours!

The bed was comfortable and shower had a decent amount of power.

On arrival we were asked to pay an additional £50 deposit for the room, despite having paid in full when booking. When queried we were told it was required in case we damaged anything in the room - insulting to start your stay at a 'luxury, spa hotel' with an assumption that you will damage the room. Even more of an insult when we saw the room, as it was was shabby: peeling paint, chipped wood, cupboard doors that didn't close, flickering light in the bathroom, shower screen was too short and water went under it and flooded the floor, scaffolding outside the windows, windows dirty, seats stained, lights dim, wifi very poor, staff on reception very rude, no lift and no offer to help take cases upstairs. Billed as a luxury spa hotel, but very poor compared to a Premier Inn.

Stayed over night as my friend as getting married today and I needed to be up early to help her get ready the day was amazing everyone enjoyed themselfs and the bride and groom was beaming when I left for home as I was shattered thank you

I had a lovely day in the spa and my massage by the lovely Alysha was amazing. My room was gorgeous with the nespresso coffee machine and the lovely welcome message from the housekeeping team. The rainfall showers are soooo good and I felt refreshed for my evening in the cameo bar where I was looked after by the lovely Oliver and Liam. The steak was spot on and made exactly how I like it. My son Caleb who works behind the bar helped to arrange a lovely evening for me and I felt so well looked after by everyone. After a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed I had a swim, sauna and steam and was then well looked after in the cameo restaurant when I had my breakfast. Thankyou so much to everyone. Can't wait to stay again 😊

Dunkenhalgh spa day was amazing I had the back shoulder and head massage performed by Sarah-Louise and was absolutely fantastic. Very relaxing experience throughout the day. The afternoon tea was lovely and fresh, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.😊 Thank you. Lisa treen.

Character and style of the main building.

My room was somewhere behind the leisure facilities. Not part of the main building. Had a much less luxury feel and a strong smell of cigarette smoke.

Food was great, the sevice was great, Oliver and the team in the dining room were excellent

My colleagues room, number 41 was very warm
