La situation est vraiment pratique mais le quartier n'est pas super.

Les chambres sont petites, impossible d'y loger a 4 malgré 2 grands lits. Il n'y a pas assez de vaisselle pour 4 personnes et même pas de liquide vaisselle pour laver ses assiettes. La propreté est plus que passable (cheveux sur le lit, reste de savon dans le porte savon de la douche). Il y aurait besoin de pas mal de rénovation : fuite au tuyau de la douche, barre de douche qui menace de tomber, fenêtres sales, toilettes a changer, télé sans aucune chaîne, etc

The light was off when we used microwave and kettle. Bathroom light was off all the sudden when I was in the shower. Tv wasn’t working properly because we need to switch off and on from power point instead of tv remote. Very noisy during the night from outside road also we can hear people talking outside after midnight. The building was dirty from renovation, too much dust everywhere.

The staff was polite and helpful. I did have to ask for the bill a few times—it was a business trip and I needed the receipt to claim the expenses—but I finally got it. The location is excellent—right next to a tram stop heading downtown and a large grocery store. I was in the room alone, but it would also be comfortable for two people. It’s actually like a mini-apartment—a room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. Plus, there’s a spacious closet and, of course, a bathroom.

They could do a better job of keeping the place clean—piles of dust and cobwebs on the walls aren’t exactly inviting. It seems like the renovation was done half-heartedly and quite a while ago—sure, it’s a cheap hostel and I don’t expect miracles, but sometimes a little fresh paint can change how a place feels. The kitchenette did have cutlery, but not a single knife—neither a table knife nor a paring knife.

It was a good location for us. The space is under some renovations, but has potential. Our room was fine for our needs and clean.
