"Great hotel at a very good price and great location."

The room was excellent and very comfortable. Great Location opposite train station and a 10 minute walk in to the city.

Bit of hassle at check in. got charged even though room had already been paid for on booking.com. Got refund a couple of days later though. Parking at hotel was £30 for two days.

Very close to the train station. Grand feels to the hotel. Friendly elderly cat in the beer garden seems well looked after by the staff.

£4 for a soft drink in the bar is a bit much.

"Ok after complaint and free upgrade !"

The room we were upgraded to for free in the refurbished part of the hotel was fresh and well decorated.

They tried to put us in the old end of the hotel which was terrible , the smell was hideous , the corridor walls were chipped ,an old red carpet was folded out in corridor we nearly fell over on it .Terrible . This part of the hotel is in desperate need of updating .
