Great location by the train station

Great location, lovely communal areas, friendly and welcoming staff. Bed was comfortable and the bedroom itself had good amenities with a hairdryer and iron provided.

Bedroom and bathroom doors were both sticky and hard to close, peeling ceiling and mould in the bathroom, bathroom fittings needed attention (broken loo roll holder and shower screen that didn’t meet the bath)

Clean and comfortable. The old and new decor worked well. The breakfast was good quality with a wide selection.

Staff brilliant, room.goof

Hotel elegante, arredato in stile classico con un'atmosfera old style e qualche tocco di moderno. La posizione, proprio di fronte alla piccola stazione, è comodissima per chi, come noi, arriva e riparte col treno. Il centro, con la cattedrale e i principali luoghi d'interesse, è raggiungibile a piedi con una camminata di un quarto d'ora circa. All'arrivo ci è stata assegnata una camera bella e spaziosa, nella quale però - nonostante i tentativi - l'impianto di riscaldamento non funzionava. Quando abbiamo segnalato il disguido, visto che quel giorno faceva piuttosto freddo, ci è stata assegnata un'altra camera e, senza che lo chiedessimo, ci è stata gentilmente fornita pure una stufetta elettrica. Per il resto la nostra esperienza è stata molto positiva. La camera era silenziosa, il letto molto comodo, la colazione più che soddisfacente.
