The Stratton House Hotel

some parts of the hotel were quite outdated and the beds are very uncomfortable other than that there were some lovely staff members a great window view and a very clean hotel

Perfect location & nice and clean Allie was amazing at helping resolve our issues.

83yr old male and 75yr old female - 4nights Rooms were very hot! Was told by Fiaz there are no walk in showers to find out later that is not true (they are available on the 1st floor) later found out he is the manager. Was also told we were booked into a GF room. But arrived and it wasn’t ready. So was put on the 1st floor. (M struggles with stairs) was moved to GF the next day. But no rails were over the bath so wasn’t able to use the shower. These were fitted on day 3 of our stay. As per our recommendation and were organised by Allie.

Well located and comfortable enough. Staff were helpful.

Of the three rooms we booked, two were far too hot for comfortable sleeping even with the radiator off. My colleagues had to sleep with the window wide open to maintain a reasonable temperature. This seems like a big waste of energy.

Blinds didnt work and sink seemed blocked
