Now under new management Staff were friendly and attentive, especially dealing with many groups for breakfast Breakfast/brunch good value

Rooms being refurbished in blocks Water was very hot in shower although noted on a sign in the bathroom

Superior room was spacious & the bed comfortable. Nice big bath towels. Friendly staff.

The adjacent plant room was quite noisy. The shower gel needs to be wall mounted for ease of use.

Central location to town within walking distance to the party I was attending

I couldn’t get my window open and the room was very warm

Staff were nice

No smart tv Cheap beds and not comfy Rooms not made well and run down

Breakfast was fine except that they don't do vegetarian/vegan sausages. Plenty of other options. Parking for me was no problem. The staff were very friendly and I didn't have an issue with cleanliness though I don't inspect as thoroughly as some do.

Basic single room but perfectly adequate for a short stay. I've stayed here before and never had an issue with parking,but there aren't a lot of spaces for the number of rooms. Breakfast was hell on earth on the 2nd day as a large party had obviously stayed overnight. There were a number of noisy children,though that's hardly the hotel's fault. I had to wait an hour for my meal but I thought under the circumstances the 2 young women at front of house coped heroically.

Chefs breakfast amazing , Alice was lovely , helpful and made you feel welcome , nothing was to much

We had room 7 , was so hot , so didn't sleep to well , room was quite dated , needs new blinds , barh was great , but couldn't get it to change for water to come out of shower
