The Stratton House Hotel

The staff is very helpful.

The shower knob is not functioning well. Dufficult to adjust for hot and cold water.

Easy to access, good parking and the bed was comfortable, and update tv and plenty of sockets

Very hot rooms even though we had the window open all night, no mini fridge and a the shower wasn’t that pressure full and a small shower screen so water ended up on the floor

There was a bed

Rooms are not as advertised Room stunk of stale cigarettes

Perfect location and friendly staff

In town, easy to commute for work.

Bed was pretty hard.

Pleasant restaurant (though no breakfast available except at weekends) Convenient parking

Faulty window blind - it fell down trying to operate. Extremely hot room & sash window stuck - had to be forced open to bring room temperature down. Peeling paint in bathroom No bedside table or lighting - only very bright LED ceiling lights. Not at all relaxing. Tiny TV screen barely viewable from bed! Very noisy from alleyway beneath window, including people taking noisy cigarette breaks to well past 11:30pm and bins being moved around at 5:30 in the morning

Basic, but clean & comfortable.

Very noisy first night - people moving what sounded like bins - in the alley outside my window at about 11.00pm. & took a while to get used to the traffic & trains. However, much better second night.

Bathroom step in Bath (not ideal)to access shower which was bath tap operated..scalding then cold shower head corroded ..old parts of another shower on opposite wall.several holes in wall .appalling..old wallpaper!! in bathroom peeling ..sink plug hole ring brown soap dispenser unit corroded Nowhere to hang towels holes in bathroom walls Bed old hard mattress duvet barely covered bed thin old see though duvet thin pillows Did not state anywhere if water drinkable from tap (kettle in room)

Room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, Food was amazing

Could do with Air con in the rooms as the hotel is very close to the main road so couldn't really have the window open without excessive road noise, also the bathroom could have been made a little bigger for the size of the room
