Beautiful private ryokan in the heart of Gion, featuring a hot tub, Japanese garden and tatami mats, giving that authentic Japanese feel to our stay. Walking distance to train stations, shopping precinct and all the major sites in the Gion area. Very comfortable and great value.

"Enjoyable stay in very well located guesthouse"

I liked the atmosphere and location was perfect, accessible but still quiet. It felt traditional and this was enjoyable. The bathroom was incredible and lots of space in the property.

I wish there had been some drawers/cupboards to unpack clothes.
