Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel - A Leading Hotel of the World

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant, review is primarily focused on our server. We had the very good fortune of having Carla as our server. Carla was outstanding. She was professional, efficient, friendly, and had a terrific personality. She was certainly instrumental in making our evening a memorable one. The Anantara is fortunate to have such a valuable employee.

The bad view of the parking put me off! I slept well though! Woke up at 11 AM so I missed breakfast, can not tell if it is good!

A very friendly and professional staff made our stay most enjoyable. The location in Nice is ideal. The rooftop restaurant breakfast started our day and cocktails at the bar in the evening would highlight the day's end. The rooms were well designed for a comfortable stay and very quiet.

The location is great - right across the Promenade du Paillon from Vieux Nice and close to the Promenade des Anglais. We had a terrace room on the 6th floor - the room was very nice, modern but with character, with a great view over Nice and the water. The only issue was that these rooms are right below the 7th floor restaurant and the noise came through - we could hear the tables and chairs scraping above us as they were being moved around. That restaurant has great views as well but it is an odd, skinny space indoors and hard to move around in, especially at the buffet breakfast. Thought the breakfast was good, there are better places to eat for other meals. The hotel seems to focus on tour groups (Viking while we were there) and conventions over individuals. We arrived about 11 am understanding the 3 pm guaranteed check-in time. The person at reception said they would try to have our room ready earlier since we were there early. We left for lunch then returned about 1:30. The Viking desk was set up (convention desks were there as well on other days) and we watched Viking guests come in early and get their rooms while we waited. Our room wasn’t ready until 3:15. Each day our room was about the last to be cleaned - we returned from touring one day at 4 pm and housekeeping was still in our room. Fortunately the concierge and bell staff were warm and friendly. We will stay at a smaller hotel the next time in Nice.

Everything about our stay was great. The room (with a sea view and balcony) was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every amenity you could ask for. High-quality linens and plush towels; excellent bathroom. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. Example: we emailed our boarding passes to be printed out; they were delivered to our door within 10 minutes. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. (Our dinner experience was very disappointing, the only negative about our stay. Mediocre food at a high price. Numerous restaurants within walking distance offer better food at half the price.) A nicely equipped gym on the lower level. The location is great. Easy walk to Place Messena and Old Town, the beach, and public transit. Highly recommended.

The restaurant in the hotel had delicious food. The view was marvelous, and our server was icing on the cake! Elina went above and beyond. Making us feel welcome and getting us what we wanted without being too intrusive.

We loved our stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive. The location couldn’t be better, right by the Promenade des Anglais, with stunning views that made every morning feel special.

Great location. Wonderful view from our guestroom, which included the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel was very intimate, and the friendliness of the staff was great - particularly the Concierge Team. We had a terrace which was terrific for dining and relaxing. The roof had a very nice indoor/outdoor restaurant with excellent views as well. I look forward to returning in the fall next year.

I recently stayed at Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, and from arrival to departure, everything was simply exceptional. Upon arrival, Emma provided a warm and professional check-in, making me feel truly welcomed after a long journey. Vanessa was wonderful in showing us around the room and ensuring that every detail was perfect, her thoughtful hospitality really stood out. At check-out, Marcio was incredibly kind and friendly, handling everything with care, and Sarah was also very attentive and helpful throughout the process. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. The breakfast was one of the best I have had, delicious, with a wide variety of options and a truly spectacular view to start the day. Thank you to the entire team at Anantara Plaza Nice for making our stay so memorable. I can’t wait to return!

The stay at Anantara Plaza Nice was wonderful. The hotel redesign is outstanding, including down to very small details.....luxurious, very clean, quieter than any other hotels we have visited. The staff was amazing, with the exception of one breakfast server who was rude to us and other customers to the point where it was necessary to ask management for assistance. Not only were they shocked and apologetic, but Victoria sent a bottle of wine and cookies to our room later in the day, and insisted on bringing delicious breakfast crepes to us that day and the next. Remi at the concierge desk was also exceptionally friendly and helpful with recommendations and reservations. The door and valet staff was not only efficient but made a point of making it a fun experience every time we left or entered the hotel. All in all, we loved our experience at the hotel and will surely return.
