Quinta Real Acapulco

Nice quiet place but service is bad. Beware of the charges to your room. Twice I was overcharged and when I brought it up with the staff They justified it by saying there are service charges that are added which are not stated on the receipt that you actually sign for. Even with that explanation I did the math and they were still over charging me. They eventually refunded me, the difference between the actual total and the “hidden” service fee, that doesn’t appear on the receipt I signed. So they still ripped me off. I have never had to go through this with a hotel and for that reason I will never stay at this hotel again. Americans beware! Also I booked this hotel for 2 people and was told it included breakfast but when I cashed out I was told the breakfast wasn’t included for my other guest because my guest was a minor, my 15 yr old daughter. Save yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else. Acapulco has too many nice hotels with great service to have to go through what i went through at this hotel.

After looking at the negative reviews, we were a little skeptical about staying at this hotel. We thought it was great: the rooms were clean, the views spectacular, and the pool was awesome. Do yourself a favor, lower your expectations, and stay at this hotel! Yes the double security checkpoint is a bit slow, but it’s for your own good. Yes the bar and restaruant are a bit basic, but that’s a good reason to explore outside! And yes the room is basic, but comes with Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries. Also, if you sign up for círculo real, free of charge, you get late check-out (6PM) and 10% discounts at bar and restaurant. We will defintely come back to Quinta Real

Service employees were very good but check in and check out was long and somewhat confusing.

For the price I guess they are a little low in quality of attention. But still the Best option in punta diamante

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The most humiliating experience of my life! A friend of mine was taking me to the hotel and he was asked to surrender his driver's license at the property gate and then drive the rest of the way without a license. Then there was a second gate, where we were stopped again to be questioned like common criminals for about 10 minutes, then we finally to the hotel only to find nobody to help us with our luggage, which we had to carry ourselves to the front desk. Place is beautiful, building's OK, but service, policies and procedures are beyond horrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The location and staff are excellent. The hotel needs some improvements as new electrical outlets to charge phones, some cosmetic improvements. It also needs an upgrade in the decoration of the furniture but overall great place.

The hotel is very secluded and far away from the crowds. Decorated very nicely , very clean and excellent service. Everyone is nice and very helpful. The food is very good and is served in two restaurants with ocean views. Our room as all the rest of the rooms was very ample and had great ocean view. nice pool and great beach, away from other very crowded areas. We loved this hotel and will be back.
