Kings Inn & Suites Mason

This property was very run down. Bleached dirty sofa in lobby, torn wallpaper, filthy doors. Our room carpet was dirty and stained, couch stained, vanity light broken, bathroom smelled like urine. The bed was comfortable and clean, and since it was just an inexpensive place to lay our heads it was fine. Wouldn’t want to spend more than one night though or be here with kids.

Our room smelt like a dog kennel so we had to switch rooms. Mold was in the bathroom. Staff tried to be accommodating.

Property was outdated. It smelled like urine and mold. Seen roaches in the room.

Nice room didn’t offer any kind of breakfast was put in a different room than what I reserved and TVs only had like 6-8 channels

Place could be nice , but isn't!!! Beds stained and mattresses need replaced. One elevator not working. Door lock didn't work properly. No breakfast or even coffee station. Amazingly didn't see any bugs. Stains on walls, 2 towels for room for 4 people, fold out bed had no sheets and the mattress had what appeared to be blood stain but the hardly mattered as it was so worn out that it was in three pieces ( top, springs, bottom). Smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag, no cups. Refrigerator had some sort of crud on the door and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in the last several years. Expedia should be ashamed to even have it listed. By the way, Expedia website recommend it as similar hotel in area for rooms we were requesting. Pictures show a reasonably well maintained hotel, but it is not. Blood stains on wall, overall just a nasty place to stay, a local barn would be better!! Fire Marshall would probably shut the place down , if not them, health department surely would. Could go on with more reasons to stay somewhere else but I think you get the point. Over the years I have stayed at some poorly run places but this would definitely be one I would tell you to avoid.

The only good thing about this stay was at least the front desk associates were nice. The room was not exactly clean, there were half used bottles of shampoo, soap, and conditioner left. I get these are free but used is not acceptable, the towel rack was torn off of the wall by the sink, and the bar was left laying in the floor. The thermostat was missing from the wall, the curtains were mildewed, there was black mold in the bathroom. There was a bird flying around on the second floor that almost hit me in the face, there were so many issues here, that I will never stay there again. They used the patio area outside as storage, they do not have coffee in the lobby, and the facility was in various states of disrepair.

I was too scared to even go in. It looked like a crack hotel. We saw dirty shoes in the window sills and burn marks on the curtains and rust stains going down the building from every ac unit. There was a banner instead of a proper sign, and overall, it just looked way too sketchy to bring my kids into. I neglected to read the most recent reviews and just went off the star rating, so it was too late to try and get a refund, but you couldn't have paid me to stay there.

The property was not clean. There were what looked to be blood stains on carpeting. The parking lot was full of glass and sketchy people at night.

The pull out bed was so uncomfortable that nobody could sleep on it and woke up sore if they did didn’t get much sleep

Cockroach found in our room. Dirty wash rag left in bathroom. The beds were extremely stained. The window was broke. No hair dryer. The curtains had multiple holes. The wall paper next to elevator was ripped, repaired with regular scotch tape. One one towel was in room upon check in. Had to request more. Definitely will not be staying here again.
