Executive Residency by Best Western Philadelphia-Willow Grove

Booked three rooms at Best Western Executive Residency in Willow Grove PA (actually Horsham)) for our family for Thanksgiving. Two of the bathrooms were visibly dirty with hairy towels in one, as if not cleaned at all. One had weird brown stains on bed headboard and adjacent walls. All of us smelled (cigarette?) smoke in the rooms and halls. Loud repetitive 3AM (drunken?) shouting and banging sounds made it hard for most of us to sleep. Checked out immediately after 1st night of a 3-night stay. The GM would not provide a refund for the unused nights, contradicting the stated 1-night fee cancellation policy, which any decent hotel would have waived in light of the poor conditions. Their "gesture of apology" was a discount for a future stay at this same place, that we clearly would never use again. Best Western corporate customer service sounded sympathic, but did absolutely nothing to help. We only stayed here because we had booked at another BW, that closed unexpectedly, and they delayed for weeks in informing us until it was too late to reserve anything with better reviews.

I made a reservation and received confirmation. I was lied to by the hotel staff. I was told that Expedia had canceled my reservation. I found myself at midnight in the rain with nowhere to go. Expedia did not cancel my reservation as stated. The hotel staff did so and left me stranded. I was very dissatisfied. The hotel clerk was courteous.
