Wyndham Rochester Downtown

This hotel staff was rude in unprofessional Reservations made more than a month prior to trip and confirmed night before When arrived was told there were no rooms despite all of that. And they offered no help whatsoever to secure a room elsewhere Will never choose Wyndham nor book through hotels.com again What’s the point in having a reservation if there is no guarantee of a room

I showed up and they had no rooms and canceled my reservation. Other people as well. I expect a refund.

My bed sheet smelled like it was not washed.

AVOID THIS HOTEL! I didn’t check Google reviews and regretted it. Receptionist seemed high, dirty floors, broken AC, non-functional bathroom, poor breakfast, useless elevator. Not family-friendly. Checked out after one night. Not Wyndham quality!

Easy to find, easy to park, walkable to where I wanted to go. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Stayed one night and everything was fine

We stayed 3 nights at this location. Photos are not true to the property’s condition. Our sink did not drain despite calls to maintenance. There were no washcloths available and our towels weren’t replenished during our stay, although we called housekeeping several times. The area around the hotel is suspect at best. Lobby smelled of marijuana, our halls were loud and chaotic in the middle of the night— not a good experience.

I found the stay to be less than adequate, originally years ago a very nice hotel. it would be considered now getto/unclean and run down terribly. Our room was wrong, when switched we had terrible air conditioner unit operations. spoke to clerk, nothing was done. there will be no next time. sorry to see such a beautiful hotel let go to less than concerned parties. ps. not very professional staffing as my daughter and i walked through front door and weed smoke was abundant. not against the right, just do not believe it to be professional while on the clock.

Property has huge potential, but poorly managed .90 degree weather and the pool had a cover on it, section 8 degenerates threw out the hotel.

Front desk was very nice, bathroom was filthy, rif raf in the lobby, didn’t feel safe in the parking lot, no trash collection, no coffee as promised in the morning, room was NOTHING like was on the web site false advertising.
