Inn at La Porte

air conditioning in room did not work but was resolved by moving me to another room. breakfast was cold right out of the heating containers

The first room that we had the blinds didn’t work so they gave us a different room and the ac was making noises. We had housekeeping only one day. In our last night we had very loud people next door. I call the front desk twice but no one went to the second floor to check what was going on. Very disappointed. Very expensive.

The room didn’t get cool enough. When we checked in- it was set at 75 and i don’t think it ever got under 70 in there and we set it as low as it would go 66 and we were there 2 nights. Also; the hot tub didn’t work- they are waiting on a heating element. Staff was very nice, very clean, very nice rooms. Didn’t complain about the ac- cause with 6 kids i don’t want to repack and unpack again

Room smelled bad. Breakfast was terrible. Coffee was ice cold.

Bathrooms were very outdated and shower/tub was almost non operational. Rooms were stale and carpets were not very clean. Even the closet had a broken pole for hanging clothes. Breakfast was limited and not appealing. The rooms were spacious and did have a fridge, so that was nice. The biggest issue is our room keys didn’t work on the second day, and we had to wait in line behind others with the same issue. Somehow, another person’s keys worked on OUR room, but luckily they quickly realized it was the wrong room. Not overly safe feeling…

Nice hotel with a well decorated lobby. Looks like it was remodeled recently. Rooms are spacious with plenty of seating unlike other hotels that provide one desk chair in a room for four.

The bed and pillows were nice. Lots of pillows! Plenty of towels. We had 4 hand towels, 4 wash cloths, and 4 thick, large bath towels. We were there for 3 nights, and getting fresh towels was not a problem. There was also in room coffee, microwave, and mini refrigerator. Great staff. Not far from the beach and shopping. Breakfast was very good, offering hot and cold healthy choices. There was something different each day. There is also a pool and spa. They are also pet friendly. We have stayed here before and will definitely be back.

The water in the spa wasn't very hot. No other complaints.
