Extended Stay America Select Suites - Des Moines - West Des Moines

At check in the desk clerk had little to nothing to say, did not engage in conversation and didn't explain the layout whatsoever. Room was clean and comfy however i found a item from previous guest.

The property was not clean and very limited options for breakfast.

Friendly people

Will NOT stay here again. The kitchenette had nothing in the cabinets. No silver, dishes, or pots to use on the stove. The lighting is poorly designed and left the room looking dark and dinghy. TV too small to watch or hear from bed. Hallway carpet and elevator dirty.

The place is full of what I can only assume are illegals placed there. They all appear to be of Arabic and African. Did not hear any English. Rampant weed smoking in the elevators and hallway. They appear to not have transportation bc the hotel seemed fairly full but hardly any cars. Dozens of adults were just laying in the grassy areas around the hotel at all hours. Horrible place.

To many aliens with kids running in halls, in the parking lots, smokers by all the entry doors.

Lots and lots of people and noisy children milling around everywhere on the property at all hours. It appears that the hotel is mainly being used to house migrants.

Friendly staff.

Smelled funky, outdated, had to ask for everything.
