Peninsula Boutique Hotel Port Douglas - Adults Only Haven

We had a great time during our stay! We stayed here two nights during our honeymoon and chose this location in order to dive the Great Barrier Reef, and we were very happy with our decision! The location of the hotel was amazing-- very close to the dive boat departure location and steps away from 4 Mile Beach. The included made-to-order breakfast was absolutely delicious, although it took a bit of time (so if you have somewhere to be in the morning, leave plenty of time!). The room was nice and clean, although a bit outdated. We didn't try to pool, but it looked fun. We'd highly recommend!

The stay was great. Really loved the ocean view rooms. The rooms were spacious. Had a separator between bedroom and dining area plus a balcony and you could walk from there to the four mile beach. The front desk was helpful in arranging for shuttles. We also got a discount for the wildlife habitat. Breakfast was included and it was cook to order and hence not standard buffet breakfast. Really liked the options.

We stayed here as one of many hotels whilst touring the East Coast. This Boutique Hotel is literally across the Road from 4 Mile beach and a very short stroll from the Stinger net. Firstly the staff are really friendly, happy in their work and a pleased to serve and look after you. The hotel is adults only, so no screaming kids in the pool, or restaurant. Result !! The plus points : Location both to beach and town city Free wholesome cooked to order breakfast, free barista coffees, choice of various fruit juices. Free pool towels and sun beds, with cushions. Free use of sun umbrellas to take to the beach along with camping chairs, a trolly to put them in if needed. Free cycle hire. Happy hour from 4,00pm to 6.00pm. All the suites include a large fridge freezer, hob and dish washer Tea and coffee facilities The bathroom has both a large 2 person tub and separate shower. Individual A/C control and ceiling fans both in lounge and bedroom Views of either pool with direct access or beach. Private free undercover parking. The minus points None Believe me I’ve stayed in a number of 5* hotels all around the world and there’s always something that annoys you or you need to make reference too, I could not find anything to make mention of. A truly wonderful well managed, well maintained establishment. I couldn’t recommend this Boutique Hotel more.

Fantastic location overlooking the beach. Lovely big comfy bed and cushions

Great location. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and excursions. Right on the beach. Had a corner room 2nd floor. Spacious, clean and fantastic view. Breakfast included , was made to order off menu with great variety. Staff very helpful— nick gave us a ride to the wharf for our reef tour!
