Hamilton Plaza Hotel & Conference Center

The parking was nice that it was included however was in an open very sketchy parking lot. Barley slept as there was NO BLINDS to cover the window?! The carpet had food all over it and I had dropped an item of mine and as i went to pick it up I noticed an old half eaten chocolate bar ( not mine) under the bed. The pool was shut down and they were aware I had a child coming but placed me inbetween two rooms where parties all night were taking place.

On site parking included. Centrally located. Efficient check-in.

The desk clerk was not too knowledgeable. I asked if there was room for an upgrade, as we had experienced it on our last stay, and she said that she thought we were making a joke. When I told her they did it for us before, she just laughed. Also, my friend paid cash for the room but when she asked for a receipt, she told her that she would get in when she checked out. We were checking out at 3:30 am to catch a flight! When the other clerk heard this, she stepped in and told her to give us a receipt.

Definitely not as pictured. Rooms were very small and not very clean. Everything was very outdated

They are renovating the property, so I understand some issues. Breakfast was a joke. No hot items at all other than toast and bagels. Bathroom in our room was tiny, mold on the shower curtain. The rest of the room was clean and nice. My husband used the bathroom on the 2nd floor and someone was definitely doing drugs in the stall next to him. More should be done to keep non guests out.

Not a good hotel. Staff were slower than I've ever seen anyone do their job. It was like it was their first hour on the job. Not friendly. Quiet and reserved. The hotel itself was gross and smelled bad. Uncomfortable beds. Parking situation was terrible. Overall just a bad experience. Don't stay here ever.

Hotel was easy to find, prompt check in great parking! However one of these reasons we chose this hotel was it had a pool which the kids were very excited and looking forward too. Unfortunately for us when we arrived and checked in and asked about pool hours we were informed pool was closed due to repairs. Upon booking or check in communication or advisement on this would have been appreciated. Also breakfast that was included with stay we were also disappointed that no eggs or meat were available. Staff working in restaurant weren’t very communicative and non interactive with customers. Overall I would rate 3-star due to the fact we booked based on pool and not offered any discount or anything we would have booked at a other hotel within the city!

The hotel was perfect! Great, friendly staff, clean facilities and a really nice room. My friend and I loved our stay at the Hamilton Plaza Hotel and Conference Center & will recommend the hotel to our friends and colleagues.

Room was just ok. No mini fridge and jetted tub wasn't working. Comfy bed and great location make up for some of the hotels short comings.
