Service was truly terrible. I attempted to get some assistance purchasing flowers and the concierge said they would have the flowers ready at my check out, but when the time came there were no flowers and no shops to get anything last minute from. The rooms were very loud and the doors in the hallways slam very loudly. It’s unfortunate because it’s a nice hotel but the service was a tremendous let down

This hotel was booked for us by Royal Galapagos cruise company as a part of the pre-cruise liveaboard package. We started our stay late with a little error as the reception staff booked us into floor 6 however our cards didn't work for 6 in the lift and the lift only takes you to the spa, your allocated floor and the lobby. We got out on floor 5 which is mostly conference rooms but found the room number stated on the card. We tried to get into this room but our room key didn't work. I assumed it was because I quickly pocketed it next to my phone. My partner stayed and I took the lift back to the lobby. The receptionist realised that their was already someone in that room so thankfully we didn't get in to their room. They changed the cards and I got back in the lift it was then I realised I could only get out at floor 6 and my partner couldn't get to me as there isn't any stairs that isn't situated behind an alarmed fire exit. My partner ended up putting all our luggage in the lift and we met in the lobby before a member of staff asked us what we were doing and we explained. The staff make an effort to dress well, their uniforms are very smart and so were most of their clients. We had been travelling for nearly 36 hours so were not in the best shape and you could tell they were judging. This aside, when we got to our room we were pretty happy. The room had a huge king sized bed, it was sold to us as a business advantage which doesn't seem to be available on their website for direct booking. The bed is comfortable and the room is temperature controlled. There is quick free WiFi, hairdryer (small) and iron board in the room which helped. It has a separate desk, TV and vanity area. The bathroom has double sinks and nice smelling amenities. Sleeping wise... The room has a remote controlled blind system including a blackout blind which was great however if you get a front road facing room, the constant flow of traffic is incredibly loud. There is also no soundproofing on the doors so you can hear people entering and leaving. We stayed for two nights and had breakfast included. Breakfast starts at 06:30. It's a wait and sit service then buffet style with only ordering coffee and tea, it has a really good range, freshly cooked omelettes, local food, fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses. Their is water bottles in the room and reception can also give you these after dark. The area is okay however we were advised not to go out after dark. Our transfer to the airport was at 6am, we were told that there are pastries available at reception. When we got down they explained there wasn't any but you could pop into the buffet as a cold breakfast was available.

The hotel is a very nice facility with an outstanding staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would want. The breakfast buffet is excellent. What makes this hotel special is the staff. They were always available, smiling, and ready to help. From the hotel entrance to the cleaning staff to the breakfast workers it was a comfortable and welcoming experience. It didn't get 5 statrs as there were a couple issues. Our shower head didn't work right (water shot out the sides) and I reported it 3 times. It was never fixed. Also they give you a QR code to scan for menus and what shows is no where close to the actual offerings or prices, at least in the LePoint. Several of the choices didn't exist and many prices were double when you got to the bar. Would not have minded if the information was correct. And while public transport is available to the center of town you are in a business area. No commercial opportunities for shopping. Overall okay.
