Rodeway Inn

We stayed here Friday while visiting family on the way to TC. The rooms are very clean, older hotel, the owner and staff were pleasant and the air worked. They also have decent cable. Just outdated but, so are people's homes although it is going through a remodel. Would stay again, good pit stop stay if you don't want to pay prices for a full weekend in TC.

I have to be honest, I booked this room not only because its part of the ChoiceHotels program but also because of the price. Other hotels in Traverse City were about $250 a night and for just a weekend getaway spot this place is pretty close to everything we wanted to do. I really don't have anything bad to say about it. The room was clean and the furniture is new. Hopefully one day they will upgrade the mattresses but that's just a tiny part of the whole thing. If you are traveling to this area but just might spend most of your time out of your room to run around, stay here and save the money for something else. If you forget anything, there is a Meijers to the west about 15-20 minutes down the road in Williamsburg. Use your GPS.

Very close for us to use for snowmobiling. Room was clean and very affordable.

Toilet lever hard to push down. Could not do it with just fingers. TV wasn’t clear and keycard didn’t always work. Had to wait 25minutes in lobby for someone to show up to rekey card after calling numerous numbers. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and when requested extra towels etc staff was there in a matter of minutes and shower was hot

A clean older family run hotel providing the basics for a comfortable and quiet stay. It needs a bit of updating but the new owners here make the difference and went out of their way to make sure all was right with my visit. I lodge here a couple of times a year on a corporate plan and used to dread coming because of the previous management’s lack of basic courtesy. With this new staff those days are in the past and I look forward to my next visit. If you are looking for basic decent accommodations this facility fits the bill nicely.

In desperate need of repair, toilet was on loose as was the sink faucet. It’s a $50 dollar a night room so I guess you shouldn’t expect much.

Old building but very well maintained great staff

Do not waste your time here as I was given the run around by both the hotel owner and their corporate parent when a non smoking reserved room turned out to be a smoking room. Called corporate parent as there were no other rooms at this hotel and found no support. I would be surprised if they ever audited this hotel.

My bathroom had man hair all over the floor and in the tub! No spare roll of toilet paper! The first room they were going to put us in smelled like smoke! We asked to be moved!

For an older hotel, the rooms and office areas were very clean! Staff was extremely friendly, inviting and helpful! Only complaint was the mattress wasn't super comfortable to me! Hotel had NO vacancy but when an elderly couple drove in from Texas, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate them in a newly renovated room that didn't even have furniture in it yet. They moved a bed in and discounted the room cost!! Their kindness speaks a thousand words!! Would definitely stay here again!!!
