This property is gorgeous. Our room was pretty and efficient. There are several dining option and all were superb. The staff were very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This property is in a great location, but I don’t understand the 5 star rating. The rooms are old, run down and very dated. The phone system hardly worked. The pool was freezing, and had zero service. Other than location, it should be 3 Star.

The surrounding area around the hotel was amazing. The hotel service was disappointing and when you asked for help many times we were treated poor. The spa treatment was good.

"Insides the Walls of the Old City"

While we were told that this hotel is in the old town of Carcassonne, we were unprepared with just how inside of the walls the hotel was. The experience is similar to staying inside castle grounds. Besides the lactation, the hotel was amazing appointed with genuine antiques everywhere. Our room was spacious and we paid for a view room. This was an excellent choice. Our view was fantastic.
