The Bidwell Marriott Portland

Im honestly surprised at the attentiveness of the hotel staff, the valet while managing multiple people was courteous to everyone and even though he had to go down the street to open the parking garage for me, he freaking sprinted and flagged me down to make sure I could see him, then sprinted back after letting me in to help the other hotel guests, first time in my life ive seen any valet with this kind of hustle and Josh S. has it Rest of the hotel staff was kind, attentive, and professional as well, good marks all around

The representative at the front desk was somewhat rude when we checked in. Seemed bothered by having to do his job when we only asked a few basic questions. Not friendly at all.

Quality staff, attentive to request, overall excellent property. Josh @ Valet is awesome and was super energetic! Would recommend staying if a Marriott member when in PDX.

Josh (Door) and Elliot (Front Desk) have taken wonderful care of me during my stay. What a gorgeous hotel. Rooms are spacious and tidy and every staff member I’ve ran into has been exceptionally friendly. 10/10 would recommend !

Wow! Talk about service…it is so refreshing to talk to people who love their jobs and really care about patrons. Everyone has been very helpful and caring about my comfort here at the Boswell. Josh S. At the valet desk has been so pleasant, making sure I know what is available, giving me advice on leaving in the morning to catch my flight, and asking about my day. As I was waiting for my car he talked to every person that came by and knew personal details about them. He even asked about a new employee’s first day. He knew my name as I returned from meetings. These are the types of things that will make me seek out staying at the Boswell every time I come to Portland. I wish all service industry companies took notes from employees at the Boswell.

Derek at the front desk was such a delight. He was not only warm and helpful. I have to admit, when he greeted us it just started my trip out on such a high note. We were able to access our room earlier, which was very helpful. The club lounge was very nice for a quick snack and refreshment. The breakfast buffet was indeed well put together and quite enjoyable with their options - food attendants in the morning breakfast kept everything filled up and very clean. I love having the latte machine making breakfast a must do . We enjoyed the soft & comfy beds, the views of the bridge from our room and the club lounge breakfast. Every employee we interacted with were very pleasant and always helpful. We are planning on coming back in the next few months and will stay here at Bidwell, downtown Portland. Minutes away from everything. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
