Susanna Inn Machu Picchu Hotel

Wir waren hier nur für eine Nacht. Haben so viel positives über das Frühstück hier gelesen, leider war es aber nur durchschnittlich. Ein normales Hotel.

The room was clean and the shower was excellent. (Best shower I’ve had in Peru), this is the third hotel of our trip. We were located on the first floor, it was a little noisy due to the reception being so close. WiFi works well, overall a pleasant stay for one night.

The stay in itself was amazing. Although a little noisy which is unavoidable that stay was clean and easy to maneuver as a non spanish speaker. Their laundry service is expensive as it was 8 soles per kg of clothing.Their check out time being 9am forces your hand to either carry your luggage around until your train leaves or pay 30USD cash to have a late check out time. Seems intentional to have such an early check out time.

Very cheap and cheerful stay with great breakfast. Expect an early wake up from other residents heading down to breakfast early or out on excursions due to how the noise travels through the building.

Don't get fooled by the photos. Most of the rooms have either awful views or are right in front of the train station. It was impossible to sleep after 4am because of the noise. Also, no AC so it was really hot at night - you can't open the windows due to the noise. The front desk staff wasn't really friendly, and we even had to wait for our room even after the check-in time. At the end, we ended up changing to another hotel.

Phenomenal location

Breakfast was great and the staff was attentive. However, had to upgrade to get a view of the river, which was breathtaking. They have an option for reservations directly with their representative if you call them directly.
