Susanna Inn Machu Picchu Hotel

The rooms were simple but clean and the hotel is very close to the good dining options and the bus and train stations.

I will definitely stay at th s place if/when I come back. The owner was a completely sweetheart, the whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. The views and sound of the river are just to die for.

1.Excellent river view. 2.Close to train station, bus station to Macchu Picchu, restaurants. 3.Friendly staff. 4.The only thing I would like to point out is they did do room service every day. We stayed there more than one night. We had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels after we run out of them. We were at 5th floor, a lots of leg work...you know.

Close to good restaurants along the rail way, tiny room, only stayed one night from 8 pm to 6 am ok.

This was the hotel selected by TreXperience for our group for the night at Agua Calientes before we headed to Machu Pichu. Hotel was clean, had clean bathrooms and hot showers, which we really enjoyed after four days on the trail. Beautiful artwork painted on the walls of the room. Just be aware that there are no elevators. A room on the fourth floor means walking up four flights with luggage.

Wonderful view of the river from our room. Would be nice if they had ceiling fans in the rooms. Beds are comfortable.

It was right by the railroad tracks but the double glass windows helped it not be very noisy. Breakfast was good. There was a safe but it didn’t work.

Easy access, friendly staff, clean rooms. Complimentary breakfast was great with amazing views of the rapids and mountains. Highly recommend.

It is clear that the people at Susana Inn will do everything to make the guests happy. It is not super chique but very neat. The rooms were super clean (you can walk barefeet). I saw them even open the windows in the morning to let the fresh air in. Bedsheets and towels also bright. Nice hot shower. Breakfast was served with nice bread, fruit, eggs, cheese, ham, avocado, jam, coffee, tea, juice etc. Bottled water in the rooms came in handy. And of course the mountain/river view from the room (and the the natural ASMR sound) was great. Aguas Calientes is a very small town so everything is at walking distance: restaurants, shops. A big thank you to the staff.

The location right next to the river is unreal…very nice!! Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly staff. Close to train station. No complaints.
